Want to work for some of the biggest brands in the UK? Have you worked in baked? Can you help to develop and lead a team of Develop specialists? Do you have experience of working with baked and savoury products?
As the Head of NPD for this major brand in the food industry you will be spearheading the New Product development across two of their widely recognised brands ensuring EPD and NPD to help grow the brand names. To do this you will need to use your extensive management skills to lead a team of 6-7 staff to help them manage the day-to-day development while you will be focusing on the strategic plan to look at efficiency, regulation, legality, packaging and support technical with supplier development.
Aside from being Head of New Product Development for some pretty tasty brands, you will also be working within a company that can offer flexibility of location which will mix between home, and sites which could be in the South East or Manchester area. The other benefits will include a well-rounded package including a sizable pension, health care, car allowance and a multitude of others. Aside from all this, being part of a major company there will be great opportunity to develop internally either sideways into different departments, working across different categories or rising within the NPD and R&D function.
As part of the senior leadership team, you will need to have the gravitas for this role, so you will have a background of working within baked savoury snacks, ideally crisps, for a large blue-chip manufacturing business, strong management skills having developed staff and also a proven track record of developing products and brands within savoury snacks.
