Job Description:

New Chapter are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join a well-established and award-winning drinks merchant, as they search for a Head of Private Accounts to join their London-based division.

Through the management of a pre-existing portfolio of clients, the Head of Private Accounts will consistently reach, if not exceed, their individual targets through the seamless correspondence and superior management of these individuals and their ever-evolving needs across private sales, cellar management and wine investment.

The Head of Private Accounts will manage a small team of high-performing account managers and will lead by example through identifying and converting leads, onboarding new clients, and hosting events and networking opportunities. Being a global operation, with a number of offices abroad, the Head of Private Accounts will work in close collaboration with international teams, to ensure a comprehensive understanding of all market conditions. You will also work alongside the business’s marketing team to ensure the production of consistent and relevant offers to your clients, and you will create new opportunity through networking and event initiatives.

In order to be considered, candidates must:

  • Possess 9+ years of sales experience – majority of which should be from the drinks space
  • Demonstrate experience in managing multiple clients/accounts at any one time
  • Have prior experience in leading small teams
  • WSET Level 3 or above accredited
