Role Summary & Purpose

The purpose of this role as the Multi-Media Content Manager is to manage the multi-media content strategy and production. Together with their agency partners, you will create inspirational film, photography, and copywriting content for use across the business. You will drive collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the business to consult, develop and implement an on brand multi-media content strategy, plan, and calendar, ensuring all is delivered on time and within budget.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities of the Multi- Media Content Manager

Responsible for the production of marketing content (photography, film, copy) both on and offline, supporting the Content Manager in ensuring the tone, message and visual execution is on brand, inspirational, customer centric and accurate therefore serving a consistent customer experience.

  • Develop a content strategy with the Content Manager that underpins the marketing and category strategies to ensure direction is clear for both planned and tactical content across the business.
  • Awareness of all multi-media content requirements across the business to be able to create, maintain, communicate, and execute a content plan across all external and internal channels.
  • Chair cross-functional content meetings, developing relationships and ways of working with multiple stakeholders that results in efficient content briefing and production, and consistent use across internal and external channels
  • Ensuring that all film and photography content produced is technically optimized for all channels, ensuring content is produced once to fit all executions
  • Develop and maintain collaborative ways of working to fulfil content needs across internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and cost-effective production of world class content.
  • Ensure all content aligns to brand and tone of voice guidelines, is consistent in terms of style and quality to deliver creative excellence.
  • Create and maintain a flexible sign off process ensuring the right stakeholders are engaged
  • Develop standards, systems, and best practices (both human and technological) for content creation, distribution, maintenance, content retrieval and content repurposing, including the real-time implementation of content strategies to create one version of the truth for the business.
  • Establish workflow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, and retiring content within the appropriate product asset management system, to ensure efficiency and clarity around live content therefore reducing errors
  • Develop partnerships with external suppliers in the production of content to ensure benchmarking of service and cost-effective production and high standard execution
  • Ensure that all content is in line with legal and best practice requirements to minimise risk of misleading customers and end users and brand damage
  • Analyse reporting on content engagement and interpret reports to articulate best received content across all marketing channels
  • Provide insight into the ever-changing world of photography and video techniques and consumption, bringing new ideas and practices to the business

 

Knowledge & Experience

  • Significant experience managing photography and video production
  • Experienced copywriter
  • Proven experience in fast paced trade category or marketing environment
  • Budget management and control
