Join a Leading Luxury Media Brand as a Social Media Executive

New Chapter Consulting is thrilled to be recruiting for a Social Media Executive on behalf of a global authority in the luxury and superyacht industry. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-paced content team, working closely with the Head of Social Media to champion multiple social channels and create brand-defining content across editorial, commercial, and events teams.

About the Role:

As the Social Media Executive, you’ll be responsible for implementing an updated social media strategy and overseeing the day-to-day presence across various platforms. You’ll craft engaging content, manage campaigns, and support commercial objectives with a mix of creativity and strategic insight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Strategy: Collaborate with the Head of Social Media to implement a new social media strategy across key platforms.
  • Content Creation: Develop engaging editorial, commercial, and event-related content, including copy, imagery, and video.
  • Channel Management: Oversee the social media content calendar and manage day-to-day social channel activity, ensuring all commercial deliverables are met.
  • Campaign Execution: Lead social media campaigns, from content seeding to moderating user-generated content.
  • Analytics & Growth: Monitor trends, algorithms, and performance data to drive growth and optimize social media performance.
  • Live Event Coverage: Manage live social media coverage of events, balancing commercial priorities with engaging real-time content.
  • Creative & Real-Time Engagement: Use creative thinking to develop opportunities for real-time social engagement and conversations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Editorial, Commercial, Design, and Events, to ensure cohesive messaging across the brand.
  • Network Building: Build and nurture relationships with influencers and brand advocates through outreach and collaborations.
  • Trend Monitoring: Keep up with the latest social media trends to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • SEO & Engagement: Stay on top of trending topics and in-platform SEO to boost social media visibility.
  • Weekend & Fortnightly Coverage: Pre-schedule posts and manage occasional live posting for weekend coverage.

Who You Are:

  • Creative & Strategic: A natural storyteller with a passion for social media, ready to take ownership of channels and drive engagement.
  • Experienced Professional: At least 2+ years of experience in a similar role, managing platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and YouTube.
  • Skilled Writer: Excellent writing skills with the ability to adapt to the brand’s tone of voice.
  • Team Player: A collaborative individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, working alongside various departments.
  • Detail-Oriented: Impeccable attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality, accurate content.
  • Tech-Savvy: Experience with the Adobe Suite is preferred, along with an analytical mindset to interpret data and drive growth.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the luxury and superyacht industries is a plus, but not essential.
  • Willing to Travel: Comfortable with international travel as required for event coverage.
