New Chapter are delighted to partner with a well-established and award-winning wine merchant, recruiting the role of Trade Marketing Coordinator. With the backing of a global business, their ambitious goal is to double the business and to become a true destination distributor to the UK trade.

Established for over 20 years, our client is one of the UK’s principal merchants of the old world’s foremost wine regions of as well as their new world counterparts. They continue to embrace the philosophy of the founder ensuring this is a company with an enviable portfolio, yet the antithesis of the traditional style of wine merchant.

The Trade Marketing Coordinator role is an exciting opportunity to not only create and implement all trade marketing activity for the business, but you will also be the key point of contact for specified customers and deliver on their individual priorities. In this role, you will be accountable for many aspects of sales support including managing marketing budgets and working with brand managers to ensure all supplier brand material is produced and available as required for any Trade Marketing activity. Essentially, being responsible for how a product is portrayed and presented visually to customers and consumers. The other side to this role is centred around customer support, attending events to help the launching of new wines.


Required skills:

  • Trade marketing experience, ideally in the drinks trade
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a marketing related field
  • Excellent verbal and written skills & digital know how
  • Digital exposure and social media skills
