Junior Designer
A leader in the beauty category is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated Entry-Level Designer to become a part of their in-house Creative Studio team. This role involves providing support to Senior Designers in crafting a wide range of print and digital materials, including static and motion graphics, that are integral to the day-to-day operations of the creative department. Additionally, the role requires ensuring that the unique brand style is consistently reflected in all design assets.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the design team to devise creative solutions for various projects, spanning multiple platforms and channels, such as social media (both paid and organic), digital content, customer relationship management (CRM), email campaigns, visual merchandising (VM), direct mail, collaborations with brand partners, and printed materials.
- Deliver high-quality design work that is strategically informed, data-driven, and aligns with industry best practices. Continuously learn from post-campaign analysis and reporting.
- Contribute to the development and presentation of visually captivating, engaging, impactful, and innovative design concepts that effectively communicate the brand’s narrative.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions, offering fresh ideas and creative insights to support project development and marketing strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative design techniques to ensure the brand remains at the forefront of beauty industry trends.
- Efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide assistance to senior members of the design team in addressing day-to-day business challenges.
Desired Skills and Qualities:
- Demonstrated typographic skills, with a preference for candidates holding a Design degree.
- Proficiency in utilizing design tools, including the Adobe Creative Suite (both static and motion graphics) and Figma.
- Strong understanding of typography and layout, encompassing composition, color, and type.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure. Flexibility to adapt creatively to changing circumstances.
- A well-rounded portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity across various media.
- Excellent communication skills, with the capability to effectively convey and discuss design concepts.
- A proactive and collaborative mindset, enabling effective teamwork.
