We are the lookout for a Marketing Manager for a London based premium spirits business who distribute to over 60 countries worldwide.
You will be responsible for writing brand and trade marketing plans for the UK on and off trade (with a bigger emphasis on the on trade) as well as plans which will translate into key international markets.
Strong on-trade activation/ trade marketing experience is essential to be successful in this role and hand in hand with this is experience working for a drinks brand.
It is important that your previous roles have seen you activate plans as well as create them. We need a “do-er” in this role!
Although this is not a start-up, and entrepreneurial mindset and ability to “roll up your sleeves” is embedded in their culture. You will work closely with the on, off trade and international sales teams it is important that you have successfully collaborated with sales teams in the past to reach a mutual end goal.

Consumer and Shopper Research & analysis
Developing marketing and social media strategies
Increase brand awareness
Increasing sales through our online platforms
Define the current and future positioning of the brands, identifying key segments with the On Trade, Retail and Online as well as develop marketing strategies and campaigns for these, monitoring the implementation of and evaluating the return on investment.
Using deep knowledge of the consumer and shopper, our competitors and market conditions to improve overall consumer engagement and sharing insights with the wider team.
Able to develop compelling brand stories and brand marketing plans for our brands. Manage our brand plans and the design/creation of all marketing materials while managing specific marketing budgets.
Qualifications and Experience
At least 5 years’ experience of brand/marketing management with budget management in the drinks industry preferably in both leading brands and start-ups.
You’re a marketing enthusiast with hands-on experience and a bias towards action and activation.
A proven track record of creating / implementing successful brand strategies and campaigns across various channels with tangible results
A self-starter who can deliver ideas into successful campaigns
Focused, strategic and passionate approach together with strong commercial ability.
