Suppy Chain and Finance Manager

A relatively new entrant into the drinks market but with HUGE plans. This up and coming drinks brand have strong international backing and are already making waves in this space. Their diverse product range and experienced team are now ready to take the UK by storm. They want a Supply Chain & Finance Manager to be a pivotal cog in their growth journey.

Responsibilities

Customer Services and Logistics Management:

Managing the customer orders, inventory and 3PL providers, however, there will also be involvement with the wider supply chain and upcoming projects.

  1. Control of all customer orders including processing, invoicing and returns.
  2. Management of UK and European 3PL warehouses, and freight forwarders.
  3. Coordinate and oversee the inbound logistics from Manufacturer to 3PL.
  4. Proactively address and resolve any issues that may arise during the logistics and order fulfilment process to maintain excellent customer service levels, ensuring our partners don’t bottle it.
  5. Track, develop and monitor outbound logistics and to review all KPIs with 3PL monthly.
  6. Identify and run various key projects to find efficiencies and savings within the logistics process.
  7. Support the wider team with sample dispatch, liaising with couriers and suppliers to provide the best service to support.

 

Finance

  1. Check, authorise and send out sales invoices/credit notes to customers
  2. In conjunction with the Head of Finance chase customers for payment
  3. Input purchase invoices into Xero, obtaining authorisation as required
  4. Setting up customers and suppliers in Xero
  5. Match receipts received via Stripe and our invoice factoring company
  6. Bank reconciliations for UK account, factoring account, Paypal and credit cards
  7. Performing daily administration tasks for the invoice factoring company

 

Ideal Candidates experience…

  • 3-5 Years experience within Supply Chain with a focus on logistics
  • Finance experience
  • Proactive and openness to change
  • Ability to work across multiple systems
  • Someone who can get their hand dirty in a smaller business environment
